The fifth season opens with the two of them finally embarking on a romantic relationship together. However, they try to keep this new relationship a secret, particularly from their boss, Captain Victoria Gates. Was this a one-time thing? Are they a couple? Will this change their professional relationship? And how much can they afford to reveal to their NYPD co-workers? The fun and conflict escalate as the crime-solving dynamic duo navigate a whole new chapter in their lives.
